The West's Last Chance

The West’s Last Chance
Will We Win the Clash of Civilizations?
Tony Blankley
Regnery Publishing, Inc. 2005

The West, says author Tony Blankley is down to its last chance. Within our lifetimes, Europe will likely become Eurabia without more resolve to preserve centuries of European culture than it currently displays. The reasonable prognosis is that Eurome may become a continent overwhelmed (defeated) by militant Islam that poses a greater threat to the continued existence of United States than any threat in previous history. In The West’s Last Chance, Blankley shows how that could happen—and what we must do to prevent it.

Arguably, it accurately predicts the current rioting in France and much more.

Discussed in logical detail is what would really happen if Islamist terrorists were to acquire weapons of mass destruction. It’s not a pretty picture and probably very accurate. Tony makes a strong case for Europe's being well on its way to becoming a Muslim controlled continent and a launching pad for intense Islamic terrorism against America. Tony documents Europe’s plummeting birthrates and their social and economic impact, including predictable huge upheavals on the European Continent. Similarly disconcerting is Tony’s picture of how the United States could (will) face a similar fate if our nation’s national leadership doesn’t quickly recognize the mortal threat.

Tony presents factors holding our government back from fighting the Islamist threat to the best of its ability, and why the U.S. has so far ignored the lessons of World War II—lessons that could hold the secret to winning the War on Terror (Islamic Wars). One of the most important insights in the book is an excellent presentation on how liberalism was the catalyst for our social degeneration and how our forgotten war-winning policies of FDR has precipitated an ideology of self-loathing and Western suicide. Tony Blankley asks some hard questions, and his answers are equally hard to argue with, unless one is a devout ideologue unwilling to deal with facts and reality. Tony says what the country needs to hear, to hear now, if only our citizens could (would) read.

Frightening, provocative, and instructive, The West’s Last Chance is the most important political book of the year. It will change the way you think about the War on Terror (Islamic Wars) and reorient your understanding of what should be done by our nations leaders, sooner than later. America cannot afford the collective ignorance of so many citizens and leaders for much longer. THIS BOOK IS A MUST READ.
