If you like the progression of American culture - crime, sexual perversion (even by the Church), families raised by a village (the government), institutionalized secularism as the national religion, banana republic political ethics, local law enforcement preying on the public, pathetic educational achievement at all levels, ravaging of the military reputation with spurious allegations of widespread cruelty, disenfranchising the military vote, Congressmen serving their own self interests at taxpayer expense, class warfare as a political strategy, assault on the Bill of Rights and individual liberties, seizing of private property, racial and sexual preferences that deny your children their birthright, government influence and interference in both state and local economies, abortion at taxpayer expense as a form of birth control, unrestrained illegal alien migration across U.S. borders, government spending and debt accumulation at a reckless pace, government regulation (intervention) in a free economy that continues to expand exponentially, American business’ fleeing overseas with American jobs, gay and lesbian marriage, gambling, sports, drugs, STD, street gangs, rampant sexual abuse of children, cultural disregard for the Rule of Law, cascading judicial legislation, oppressive taxation, and on and on - then your future should be aligned politically and economically with the Democratic Party.
You are likely already a proud passenger on the liberal Democratic Socialist Party bus en route your destination. It won’t be a long ride. Take heart. You’re not far from your destination. If trends continue, you won’t even have to pack a lunch. Liberals, while you may be pleased with America’s culture today, don’t be too smug. You won’t be rewarded for your ignorance and preference for collectivism. And conservatives, you won’t be rewarded for your apathy.
However, if you prefer a different outcome, read on.
Imagine you are actually on such a bus, a large bus with many other people, fellow citizens, friends and family.
What are your options if you don’t think you like where you’re going? How do you respond? Are you going to sit passively as you’re “taken for a ride” by this extremely liberal minority of the national population to who knows where? Do you know if you’re being taken toward a place of injury or death for yourself or your fellow Americans (as a result of political correctness, illegal alien migration and/or terrorism, Wilsonian democracy), or simply a destination of personal and economic inconvenience? How do you know? Should you be willing to risk it? Is this liberal minority in both political parties who has seized control of our bus smarter than everyone else in America; smarter than history itself?
What are your choices? Sitting quietly looking out the window historically is a losing strategy. Ask the Jews. Ask them again after Iran develops nuclear weapons - if you can find one. Ask those who died in the planes at the World Trade Center and Pentagon. What makes you think you are any less a victim and that America hasn’t been hijacked, regardless of your political party affiliation.
Of the three political persuasions in Congress, extreme liberal, liberal and conservatives, less than ten members of Congress are certifiably conservative. The rest of Congress is one shade or another of liberal and extreme liberal, bent only accumulation of power, self-interest, cultural control and secular influence.
Few would disagree with the assertion that both Federal Courts and the U.S. Supreme Court couldn’t find the U.S. Constitution with either hand if it was taped to their nose. Are you willing to bet your life and the lives of your family on their patriotism?
When we permit this America, our America, our birthright, to function or be governed in any other manner than by the undiluted precepts of the U.S. Constitution, we are risking it all!
So what should we do collectively and individually? The answer is to become involved, not occasionally but on a daily basis, and to vote when the opportunity presents itself. Voting is the only way to control men and women who would, by choice, become political despots (e.g., Senator John McCain) and who in reality are not qualified to govern a small homeowner’s association. But only vote once and in only one state, unlike liberals who vote as many times as they can register in different states, dead or alive.
Personally contact your local state legislators and ask what you can do to get involved? Start attending City Council meetings. Get involved. Write often and persuasively to your local newspaper’s editorial board. Get involved. Read endlessly seeking facts about pending legislation and contact your elected representatives in support or opposition. Be heard.
If we cannot be a United States citizen first and foremost in our words and deeds, we are not American's. If we can’t support our own country, whether we disapprove of the policies of a particular administration or not, we shame eternally our birthright and do it in front of the entire world. A real American does not give aid and comfort to America’s enemies, as have the Dixie Chicks, Nancy Pelosi and John Murtha. Unfortunately, avowed socialists in the U.S. Congress and numerous Governors’ mansions don’t care, particularly those in Arizona and New Mexico. They hear only one radio station, WIFM (What's In It For Me?). In the history of the United States, few have been more openly contemptious of fellow United States citizens than today's politicians.
Conservatives understand that policy disputes can be handled at the next election. There will always be another election. A conservative American doesn’t need to sabotage the bus we’re all riding in to satisfy a pathological need for power and self-aggrandizement. Nor does a conservative American go through life with a mindless hatred bred by poor public schools, inadequate self-education and an absence of faith. Where a liberal attempts to rule, a conservative serves – so profound a difference that it resonates throughout the known universe.
We would all benefit from more facts, a less arrogant media climbing over each other trying to become rock stars, less government spending (taxation and redistribution) solely intended by congressmen to augment their personal wealth, and fewer ignorant socialist fantasies grounded only in emotion and devoid of an understanding of history.
Conservatives, you need to regain control of the educational institutions in America, even more importantly than the courts. Education, as opposed to an indoctrination, is the real issue. Realize that measurable change is several generations away, particularly if conservatives continue to sit and watch at the local level, acting like sheep instead of sheep dogs, with "hope" as their pathetic excuse for inaction.
Would you sit passively and watch if burglars broke into your home, abused your family, took everything you own and made you pay protection money (taxes) to continue to live in your own home? And if you don't pay, the street gang (known as "politicians" who are far more ruthless than the Bloods, Crips, or MS-13), are going to throw your sorry American self out into the street. That is not freedom.
Our nation is no less our home. It should not be for sale at any price, unless you happen to be a United States Senator. I wonder, did the downfall of Rome begin when Roman Senators willingly sold out God, the Roman family, and conspired with their nation's enemies to give away their birthright and abandon their borders for a few pieces of silver? Judas on a smaller scale?
